Things that go "bump" in the night!!

The night was dark and still!!

I was rudely awoken by a couple of loud thumps eminating from my dresser drawer. I whipped back the sheets and sprung out of bed fearing the worst....Zemina was still fast asleep.....so I cautiously approached the drawer and opened it very slowly.

The sight that lay before my eyes was unbelievable. There was Expy crouched in one corner with Lady YM clinging on to him for dear life....while Bluesy and Greenie were having a go at each other - hell bent for leather.

In between spinning bezels, flashing clasps and the heavy clang of 904L steel, I could pick up snippets of brutal conversation...."Stay away from Lady YM, ya bastid," I could hear Bluesy screaming.

"Go screw yourself, Blue-face!!" retorted Greenie....."now she's all mine!!"

"Go wash that green slime offa your mug, ya tosser," Bluesy blurted out.

At this stage, somehow, I felt I had to intervene before these two bashed themselves so much they'd both qualify for RSC status!!

I tried to step in, but Greenie would have none of me. He came at me with all the fury and gall his 136 grams could muster up and caught me a glancing blow with his sharp clasp across my forehead. "Ouch, that hurt, ya bugger!!"

Ole' faithful, Bluesy, tried to come to my rescue; but, inspite of an extra 13 gram weight advantage, was no match for Greenie's strength and temper. Greenie was all pumped up, guys. His main spring must have been in overdrive as he turned away from me and gave Bluesy one solid "kick" on his crystal knocking him flat back on his caseback.

Meanwhile, I could see Lady YM cuddled up real close to Expy who was taking advantage of the situation and squeezing the living daylights out of her crown and bezel......he also had his clasp nicely snuggled up against her caseback!!!

Enough was enough, I thought!! I managed to pull those two idiots apart and trap them into their respective boxes. Off to the RSC they both go first thing in the morning...with cracked crystals, scratched bracelets and warped bezels.

Summary:

Greenie is one tough mother!!

Bluesy is not as tough as he looks!!

Expy is one smart cookie - he's warmly shacked up with Lady YM while those two tossers are still licking their wounds.

NUTS!!

Have a great day, guys!!
