If you could get a watch that costs around $40,000 for 30% off (full warranty), or you could get a used one in mint condition for 40% off, but the used one had been serviced recently by the manufacturer to have a mechanical/chronometer issue fixed (9 months left on warranty), which would you pick?

It is around a $4000 difference in price between both. The used one can be picked up locally in person and the new one would be shipped by a prestigious dealer.
