Purchasing advice for DJ SS

I appreciate any help or advice. I am new to the world of rolex. Never owned one but I am in the market for one.

Found someone who is selling a SS DJ with no papers but with a aftermarket diamond bezel. He claims its authentic and probably a late 80s or early 90s model. He is willing to meet at a store to authenticate but will an AD appraise the watch? He also claims to have it serviced 2 years ago in houston but does not have any documents for that. from the pictures he sent me the watch looks like its in pristine condition. What would a watch like this be worth and will the diamond bezel increase or decrease the value? He does not have the original fluted bezel.
