No BS answers on this thread please....

a non-wis friend noticed this eve at thanksgiving gobble glut fest (canadian) that i look at my watch often and clearly can't remember the exact time. i had to pause and say, you're right! not down to the minute but rather quarter to or quarter past is about as close as i sometimes get... i thought about it and my smartphone, car and even microwave are my natural go-tos for the time. my watch is more like a piece of jewelry or an old friend i admire. i was actually surprised someone noticed because i typically do the quick glance so often, i sometimes don;t even need to know the damn time.

anyone else notice this when you really think about it? how often do you just glance at your watch but not really see the exact time? i actually do it often. when i want the time, my smartphone or car clock is usually my natural default.

does this mean a wrist watch is more jewelry and accessory than primary timekeeper to someone like me??? or both? or am i just losing it?? what day is it again>>??

shrinks... help!
