16800 Transitional

So in the early 80's Rolex went to the 16800 Submariner and the early ones still had matte dials.

Did this model introduce the unidirectional bezel?

Also, if I got one of these, and had it serviced at an ASC, would they switch the dial to an enamel dial? I've heard horror stories about this.

Would a 1680 Luminova matte service dial fit on this watch?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
