A little puzzled??
Hi Guys
Let me first start out by saying I am new to this watch Malarky however I have always liked my watches and it's only recently now I have no mortgage and dont pay tax(not living in the UK any more) that I have been able to start my meager collection. I have at last lived with my latest aquisition for a month now and I am as pleased as a dog with two d---ks, 116300 blue face perfect stylish elegant stunning just a few descriptive words to describe this wonderful piece . I am totaly enthraled with it except for the high polish on the clasp which scratches if you even look at it!! But I can live with that and it gives me more incentive to take care of it. Back to the title of this rant Puzzled-why on earth would any one after spending hard earned money on a lovely piece be tempted to fit a bit of old nylon webbing or a bit of old rubber cut from a tire inner tube!@#$*/? When in most cases the expensive watch you have bought comes with either a well fashioned bracelet or good quality leather band(luv the smell of real leather)- well gents and if any ladies would like to comment feel free- I would like to know the answer as I can not see the reason of spoiling a good piece with such an abomination. My other watches are GMT Seamaster Tudor Daydate, Ball fireman, and my every day watch would either be a Tag (quartz) or a Titoni Cosmo King (great watch by the way) So put me in my place or lets hear some genuine +'s against all the -'s |
