Submariner vs. Daytona

Newbee here

Does anyone know the height difference between the Submariner and Daytona, I wear french cufflinks and the submariner does not fit under neath cuffs. I heard Daytona might be thinner, is this true?

I am looking for my first mechnical timepiece and want one I can wear with suits and casually on weekends. Does Daytona with white face slip comfortably between these rolls. I do believe submariner does but height is issue.

Thanks
