i prefer the 'older' 16610 case design. they should have just added the new bracelet. the new case looks too big and clumsy for the 40mm diameter.The case better suits a 42mm watch (see explorer 2 42). some say rolex had to make the bigger case for market 'trend'. i wanted to comment on that: what trend? like it or not 42mm - 46mm watches are here to stay. 40mm by rolex is beyond outdated. ridiculous really. ONLY rolex purists refer to a deepsea as a BIG watch. no one else does
