As others stated, some people have other hobbies and spend an equal amount or more on them. I have easily spent far more money on my hobby (ham radio) than I have on my watch. If I didn't have that hobby and I was into watches, I'd probably have a couple more... but I don't. Some of you guys are way more passionate in watches than I am, but it's all good as I have an equal amount of passion for the hobbies I enjoy.

I like my watch for what it is, to me it is a quality timepiece and a mechanical work of art. I bought it as a "pat on the back" to myself years ago. Someday I may own more than one, but probably not anytime soon.

I have received similar comments, but I shrug them off... to each their own, right?
