Is my inherited Rolex a fake?
Hello. You guys seem to be a passionate group that may be able to help identify this Rolex watch I inherited from my great grandmother.
On the face (and excuse me if I can't name a piece of the watch correctly, I don't know too much about watches in general), it has a crown on the top, and reads ROLEX, Oyster Perpetual, DATEJUST, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, T SWISS MADE T While searching, I came across this old thread that named similarities, but I'm not skilled enough to really see the difference (and his photos were pretty blurry). I did try to scrutinize a photo someone posted of their legitimate watch on this old thread, but I just cannot be sure. I also found this number, 70216, on one of the links of the inner band, and this number, 62523H18 on the clasp under where it says P11 STEELINOX I tried searching these numbers to help identify the make and model, but nothing really cropped up. Here are some photos (click to see larger): Thank you for taking the time to help me. I appreciate any help and advice I can get! |
