Some pictures of my collection
I really got into photography some months ago. After first testing the waters with a Nikon d7000 and finding out I really was bitten by the photography-bug, I decided to take plunge into "fullframe territory" and bought a Nikon D600. This christmas I also got a nice macrolens, which has been a lot of fun to use. Of course, being a watch-nerd, my collection was a perfect candidate for practice in macro-photography. Also, the cold and dark winter in norway doesn't make it very tempting to go out and take pictures too often (how vikingly of me, I know), so having this opportunity to get some practise indoors has been great.
The collection currently only consist of Rolex watches. I have no idea what will be coming in next in 2013 - or even if there will come in anything in 2013, I might just save up for a bigger purchase this year. There are just so many different watches from different brands that are on my mind at the moment. I do know that that these three are definite keepers, though, and that they probably will suffice for the rolex portion of my collection, for now at least. That said, I do dream about the chocolate daytona with ceramic bezel, but that is out of reach, at least this year. But enough rambling, here are the pictures! To take these images I have used a Nikon D600, a Nikkor 105mm Macrolens, iphone 5 with the app "flashlight" as a softbox and strips of aluminiumfoil as reflectors. :) Submariner 14060m Explorer 2 "polar" 16750 Explorer 1 36mm 114270 |
