Gmt and Subc Clasp Question and Movement
GMTII--> Some of the design improvements in the new model include a new scratch resistant black ceramic bezel, anti-counterfeiting "RolexRolexRolex" engraving along the inner bezel, new Triplock crown, new maxi-dial (larger luminous hour markers and fatter hands), new solid link bracelet and clasp with half-link extension, and new #3186 Caliber Oyster Perpetual mechanism with smoother 24 hour hand movement. 116713
Rolex Submariner watch, polished round stainless steel case (40mm diameter, 13mm thickness) with shoulders to protect the screw-down Triplock winding crown, 18kt yellow gold time-lapse rotatable bezel with new scratch-proof Cerachrome blue ceramic insert, steel and 18kt yellow gold Oyster bracelet with Glidelock clasp (able to wear over a dive/wetsuit 7mm thick), matching blue dial with larger luminous hour markers (maxi dial), calendar at 3 o'clock, 31 jewel Caliber 3135 self-winding Oyster Perpetual chronometer movement, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, water-resistant to 300 meters (1000 feet). 116613 So, I assume that the GMTII has the bracelet that one can expand slightly to accommodate for mid day wrist swelling and the Submariner expand way more than that to accommodate a wetsuit? Would The 3186 Movement compared to the 3185 have any advantages over being able to adjust for better time keping? I mean like the 3135 has the 4 adjusters on the round thing the mainspring attaches to. Does the 3186 have the same thing? Thankx for the help... |
