Overhaulin'

My 16610 is a D series from 2006. It shares wrist time with TT blue dial. For almost a year I could feel the rotor grinding inside from being too dry. I was pretty sure it needed work, but just avoided sending it in. The in-laws have a dealer just down the road. I decided to take it in over the holidays. They have a Rolex watchmaker in house. 27 days from when I dropped it off, it's back on my wrist. Man did I miss it!

Fortunately the overhaul cost was very reasonable. And, no parts needed. I was shocked since I knew it needed work so badly! I forgot what a clean, freshly polished Rolex looks like. Awesome!
