Rejected Rolex offer...

Informal poll:

I have the SS/Plat Yahtmaster 40mm and I LOVE IT!!

Would it be dorky to get my wife the same watch in a womens size? I think it would look neat and be complimentary but...

My wife has also told me that she does NOT want a Rolex, fine timepieces are my thing and she would rather have jewelry (boring). I personally believe that a Rolex cannot be appreciated until you have one that is yours, on your wrist.

Her current time-teller is a Citizen Eco-Drive. Neat watch I guess but the fact that I have a Rolex entitles her to one (IMO) and the fact that she deals with medical doctors on a daily basis in a sales relationship tells me she NEEDS a Rolex. Lots of MD's have Rolex watches and a good discussion starter may be an appreciation for fine timepieces.

Am I just projecting my love for Rolex and should I get her something that she does not realize she really "needs". I have gotten her to try on some lady Rolex watches and she consitantly picks out the Oyster Date with the "coin edge" bezel in SS, while saying she does not need such a nice watch.

I have one, she should too!

All Psych Doctor opionions are welcome...
