Wow, thanks to all for the overwhelming response. I guess it is pretty clear how the majority feels. I guess my wife knows what she wants and I would be a dumb a** to push the issue. I definatly appreciate all the suggestions, especially the one concerning the investment in high heels.

I think I was swept up in my experience, I had mentioned to my wife that I thought I would like a Rolex someday, and when I actually got mine I was hooked and appreciated it immediately. I figured that a Rolex would have that effect on everyone, I guess not. I really appreciate the suggestion of looking at it from her point of view, how would I feel if she had a passion for modern art and just started buying me paintings just because she loved them and figured anyone with a brain would feel the same way.

Again, thank you to all, especially the Psych professionals, and the women. Merry Christmas.
