16613 Submariner Bracelet Help

First post here although I've been trollin' for months. Just bought my first Rolex, TT Blue Sub. I removed all of the removable links since I have a small wrist (6.5) and like to wear my pieces tight but the Sub still doesn't fit properly; top heavy on the 12:00 side not laying flat on the wrist as I'd prefer. I've researched removing the Divers Extension here but cannot find any useful threads re: the Sub, just mostly the DSSD. My questions are:

Can I remove the divers extension and replace it with one of my removed links or do I have to modify the bracelet by adding a link from a different model, etc?

Will removing the divers extension even alleviate my issue?

Does anyone have any other advice?

Looking forward to feedback and happy to finally be here!
