Icon5 Sub C - why is green face iridium, blue face plain?

Does anyone know the real reason why the Sub C's with blue bezels dont have an iridium effect type dial (like the old versions) yet the new green ceramics do?

Initially I heard this was because they could not match the colour of the bezel to the face on the blue ones, but hey, they've done it anyway with the green ones so... just wondered, be interesting to know
