Was just wondering why I have not seen any N-Serial 16610s for sale anywhere on the >
net. I have an N-Serial 16610 Submariner, which I have been wearing daily since I bought it in September '07 (qualitytyme.net). Are the N-serial Subs harder to find for some reason (i.e. people have kept them longer than any other serial)?
Also, after reading all of the nightmarish stories of guys losing their SDs and Subs while diving, I have removed the cherished Oyster bracelet for a grey Maratac NATO G-10 strap. Yeah, JJ, I know that's blasphemous, but ... I feel safer that way. I don't have to worry about a spring bar popping, corroding, or a screw from one of the links becoming loose, or the watch getting snagged on something. Finally, when I go to Wal-Mart, it'll look less like a Rolex ... |
