Service costs

I recently inherited a 1983 Datejust which functions very well. Loses about 1 minute in about 4 days.
It needs a new glass, a new clasp and a service.
I've been quoted 2,500 euro's (i'm based in Europe) by my local RSC, which i find really extreme.
Maybe even more than the current value of the watch itself.
Can i get your thoughts on whether this is typical?
Thanks.
