Tudor Black Bay

I am seriously considering buying a Black Bay. I've seen it in person and love the look and the feel of a quality time piece but just can't get over the fact that for a fairly expensive watch it uses an ETA movement. I know the ETA 2824 is a tried and true robust movement and all that but i guess its a psycological hurdle that I have. If it was close to the $2000-$2500 mark I would not hesitate. What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from someone who has owned it for a while.
