Explorer II 42mm, the hands

Just received my new Explorer II 42mm White, looking through a 5X loop at the edge of the hands, the black is uneven and you can see what appears to be the marks from cutting the metal, on the face of the hands the black finish is fine. On the orange hand, one side edge is orange the other side edge is gold/brass colored. I had read a review that said that this was an issue on the 40mm but had been resolved on the 42mm.

Are you guys seeing he same thing?

I bought the watch from a reliable source, not an AD, so there is that little thought in the back of your mind, could it be?

Also, has anyone been able to fake the laser coronet on the crystal?
