Thoughts on trading my MF 5513 for an SD

My 1967 5513 is simply an awesome piece. I mostly wear my new Daytona to work but outside of that, the 5513 gets all the wrist time. I do everything with this watch - fish, camp, carpentry, cook, and everything in between. Very comfortable on my small wrist. In 90 days, it gained a total of 15 seconds!

Not having a date though for something that gets this much wrist time has always bugged the hell out of me, even though I could easily look up the date on computers or phones.

A friend of mind has an F-series SD and we have made a tentative trade agreement (plus small cash from me). Yes, I could keep the 5513 and buy an SD, but a 2-watch rotation is my sweet spot after buying/selling many watches.

I have a feeling I might regret it and it would be hard to replace down the line, whereas I can pick up an SD any day.

Thoughts or similar experience?

Sorry for a bad pic that doesn't do justice for this beauty.
