Great Service deal.
Quick question...
I was in an AD today looking at Rolexes (no Milgause or GMTII) The salesman offered to polish my bracelet back to oiginal condition. I have A LOT of scratches on the bottom of the clasp. I always thought I would have to wait until I sent my SS/Plat YM to Rolex Service to have the scratches fixed. He said that this service normally costs $300 USD but he offered to do my watch for $50. My question is should I do it? I have the polished center links and I am wondering if the center links can only be polished at RSC properly? He assuered me that the tech would not be opening the case for any reason. Does anyone think this will turn out to be a hack job? It is just the bracelet that needs attention. He also said that everything would be documented and my watch would be authenticated as genuine to protect them as well as me, is that normal? Thanks for the input, the offer is really tempting. |
