Dayt-oh-no-na
My wife had been looking at the 116515 rose gold ceramic Daytona for quite a while now and with her birthday coming up (today) we ended up buying one from my local AD last Saturday and had it gift wrapped there.
She opened it this morning and I'll be darned if there isn't a pin sized blemish of some sort on the crystal surface right by the 2 numeral. Now unworn and back in the box. Fortunately I got a picture of it right after she opened the box and before it was even touched but something tells me this is going to end up being a major pain in the behind based on a search of similar threads. This is the first new watch I have bought that has been messed up. Should have learned my lesson by now and really inspected it carefully, however there is a chance that it was scratched during the re-boxing or de-stickering process in which case would have had to inspect it as it was leaving the hand of the AD and placed into the box. |
