Wolverhampton on a Saturday night

Enoch and Eli come out of the pub on a Saturday night.
As they are staggering down the street Enoch rummages in his trouser pocket and gets a bag of white powder out.
Eli is interested and watches him closely.
Enoch opens the bag and gets a handful of the powder out and starts sprinkling it along the footpath.
Eli says to him. "Enoch what you putting that white powder down on the footpath for?"
Enoch answers. "Eli you fool it's to stop the elephants!"
Enoch blurts out. " But Eli there aint no elephants in Wolverhampton mate."

Enoch looks at Eli as though he is an absolute idiot. His eyes roll into the back of his head and he says. " Eli I know there are no elephants in Wolverhampton-this powder is bloody good stuff mate!"
