Newbie :)

Hi all,

Thought I should tell you a bit abit about myself and why I'm here,

I first got into watches 5 years ago when my uncle gave me his 1999 yellow face Breitling superocean on a rubber strap for passing out as a R.N Clearance Diver, I love that Breitling and still use it as my daily wearer.
As I'm sure all of you agree tho, one's never enough but managed to make do untill last year when I bought myself a full size Omega seamaster Planet Ocean 2500 movement, again on a rubber Strap. Which if Im honest slightly onnoys me how easily the crystal smears, and find myself constantly cleaning it, lovely looking watch tho.

Both watches have been taken to 60m subsurface, Breitling more times than I can count, and has never missed a beat.

So why am I on a Rolex Forum if I don't own one?

I'm not sure if any of you are awear, but Rolex have agreed to a Limited Edition Deepsea Seadweller for the clearance Diving Branch, 50 pieces only, with the fleet diving squadron crest our personel service number and enitials engraved in the case back. This is to celebrate over 60 years of the Diving Branch. Obviously only being issued to serving personnel.
As you know Rolex only do this very, very rarely the last time being the Italian State Police Diving unit in 2008 where 78 pieces were produced.

This has been in the pipeline for a very long time, and Rolex only agreed (so I'm told) because of the past history with the R.N and Issuing the now extremely sought after Military Submariner or Milsub in the late 70's.

I've been lucky enough to get my name down and it's been confirmed I'm recieving my deepsea in the Autumn. Which Im extremely looking forward too.

Thanks for reading guys.
