Can't believe nobody has suggested this yet, but if you've got $10k to spend, and you don't want a Daytona, JLC, or AP (not that you'll find even a used AP chrono in the 10k range), then the Omega POC 9300 Liquidmetal is my top recommendation to you. Simply sublime for the price.
