Newbie from the UK

Hello everyone,

Recently moved house and stumbled upon my late Father's watch, which unfortunately has seen better days...

While doing some research I arrived here and I have to say I'm most impressed

As mentioned, my Dad's watch is in need of some TLC, but other than it being his 21st birthday present and he wore it everyday I know nothing about it - can anyone here tell me anything about it?

I've attached some pictures, apologies for the quality they're from my phone (I must find my camera - house moves are such fun!).

Any help/assistance gratefully received.
