Buyer wants to return submariner, thoughts?
Hey folks
So to fund my nice new Exp II, I did a face to face deal to sell a 14060M, which I originally bought new. I've just had a message from the buyer - 8 hours after pick up - asking to return the watch. He says its buyers remorse and he really wants the new model. What's people's views on this? Cash flow is not too much of a concern, but I made a sale to fund a purchase. The price differential between new and old should have been a clue for him. And it will be tough to readvertise it in the local market without others who enquired wondering why I have got it back. I don't want to be a bastard, but I feel uncomfortable. Plus I think I will need a cooling off period before readvertising. It's a regional holiday season, which has made selling items a little easier, but that will be over in a week. Advice appreciated. |
