pam 113
hello everyone,
so i finally picked up my very first panerai the other day. i've been eyeing the pam 113 for a very long time now, and decided it was time to pull the trigger and bring it home. i paid a pretty penny for it (retail), but the most amazing part of it is that i have absolutely zero buyer's remorse, and am so glad i own this watch! my watch is one of 500 pieces created for this year (i have the P series, and i believe that corresponds with the year 2013). i've seen pam 113's from earlier years such as 2005 which were one out of 1000 pieces created for that year. my question is: why did panerai decide to cut the number of 113s to 500 from 1000? does panerai do something like this for other models as well? could it be due to lackluster sales or because they want to preserve the value of this particular model? thanks again! would love to get pictures soon as i don't have any at the moment. but i'm sure you guys all know what a pam 113 looks like by now! |
