Newbie from North Texas

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new guy from North Texas (DFW). I just got my first Rolex from my dad. Not sure what to do with it since it's somewhat old as far as I can tell. If I understand the naming correctly, its an Oyster Quartz Day Date. Need to get it serviced soon so I can appraise/insure it.
This is my first nice watch. I had a Cerutti (nothing fancy) that was an automatic. Loved it before it stopped working. Everything else I have is just cheaper store watches. Puma, etc.
Anyway...

Oscar
