Rolex Tudor 7904 Manual - Crown over Cross

I have a small collection of mint early Tudor watches.
Amongst them, I have an mint Rolex Tudor 7904. The watch has a low serial number 1354XX. The watch is fitted with a winding crown marked with the Rolex crown logo over a Swiss cross. The crown logo is of an elongated type, and the winding crown is of a slimmer profile than found on Rolex's from 60's and 70's.

I have seen Rolex Brevette marked winding crowns, but never one like this.....is it authentic?????.......your comments and information on this winding crown varient would be much appreciated
