DJII or New No Date Submariner - can I live without bling
First Rolex. Like the DJII, but I like cleaner watches so I am leaning away from the white gold fluted bezel. Wife and son say it looks styling, I tell them the aesthetics of a perfect watch dont need gold. Black or Blue.
What do people think? on the DJII does the white gold bezel add too much bling for a 40s business guy? Also, then looked at new No Date Submariner with new dial. Thought at first did not want dive watch, but then saw how elegant it is. Is this a viable choice, especially for using for dress events? Thoughts please, on 1. DJII with plain steel bezel or white gold fluted. 2. should i give hard look to new no date SUB, or are these apples and oranges. I like the lines on the DJII, I know its plain, but have several dive watches. THANKS TK Houston, Texas |
