Short story is the painter asked her last year if she could use one of her picture, photog said no.

Painter went ahead and used the picture to make a painting asking $900 for the said painting... Anywho she settled initially for $100 given to a charity and the painting sent to her so she could donate it to a children's hospital, now the painter said --- no way! Breaking the original agreement.

A copyright infringement of the likes in Canada can lead to a $25,000 maximum fine and up to 3 years in prison ...
