OysterQuartz bracelet question : 17013 vs. 17014 ...

Hey guys, posting this for a good friend and OQ fan.

---------------------------------------------------

Let me preface by saying the OysterQuartz is one of my all-time favorite watches.

Almost without exception I have seen the 2-tone OQ 17013 paired with the 2-tone bracelet and the model 17014 (SS/WG bezel) paired with the SS bracelet - my assumption has always been the above pairings were the standard Rolex factory configurations for these models.

Recently on a few venues I have seen the model 17013 paired with the SS bracelet normally seen paired with the model 17014 - is this combination a factory combination or would the watch be considered hobbled together? Personally I find the combination awkward looking.

Comments appreciated - thank you.
