Old sub and sub C prices

Looking at he prices, it does appear that the older sub and the sub C prices are closer that I would have expected.

Any reason bub C behind this? The sub C being overpriced? The Older style being more sought after?

A grey dealer has the ND older sub and the ND sub C at the SAME PRICE. Note sure if it makes a difference that the older one was the chronometer certified on the dial thus being more rare.

I know many Rolex fans do not like he newer sub C and have many complaints about it, but would that really drive the price down that much?

I have both and prefer the Sub C, but both are outstanding timepieces.
