16710 still a viable option for daily BEATER?
Greetings all,
I currently own a 116710 which I love but the Rolex bug has been gnawing at me the past few months and I'm really leaning towards getting a 16710 preferably with lug holes. One of the main reasons I want to get a 16710, aside from the timeless classic design of the GMT, is because it is lighter and slightly smaller. I have a really thin wrist and while the 116710 is mostly a good fit, it's still kind of heavy and wears on my wrist throughout the day. My question is would it still be a viable option for a daily beater given that most of the 16710s are quite old now? I know the reliability of a Rolex has been address many times on this forum but I wanted to ask specifically about buying a 16710 as a daily beater instead of a collector's item. thank you all in advanced for your time. |
