AP G series - 3126/3840 movement question
After letting the watch sit for a few days, while turning the crown to get it started, it begins to feel 'grainy' after 2-3 turns.
I tried to put it on a winder for 600 bidirectional rotations per day but the watch actually stops working for a while. Not sure if it becomes over wound because by the Orbita website, that is the recommended setting for the 3126 movement. Let me know if any of you guys think there is something wrong with the movement (re grainy feeling) or any best practice for not wearing the watch for a few days. After setting the time, it works perfectly. (Prob not a movement problem and rather a storage issue ??) |
