Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 coronet ?

Hello everybody,

I just bought a vintage rolex from 1967 : it is an Oysterdate Precision 6694.
The serial number and the bottom case number are matching the manufacturing year.

The watch seems original in all points, but I have a doubt about the dial and especially the rolex coronet.
Please see the picture attached.
I know there are quite some difference between the coronet shapes throughout the production years, but I never seen one like this one.
It looks like a "bart simpson" coronet but I thought it could only be found on submariners ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

G.
