Gmt Sent To Rolex, Nyc
I set my watch yesterday at noon and today at noon it was -8 seconds.
I called Rolex in NYC and talked to Customer Service and told them abt the inaccuracy of the new GMT ll C. I queried her abt others having problems and although she was no explicit she said i was not the first one to send in the new GMT for adjustment. They have very strict instrucions, no plastic tape, brown paper tape with string fibers inside,,, send US Govt Registered Mail and she said declare value of $6,000. Cost be $20.15 to send to NYC from Fl. They will have the watch a few weeks, check it out, recalibrate it and ship it back to me for free. I love the watch but when my DD is -2 seconds for 2 months I am not going to take -8 seconds a day. We shall see what happens!! Don |
