Need Help with SS Datejust

I just bought my first Rolex 2 weeks ago....a 1996 Datejust SS silver dial on a jubilee bracelet. I have been to 2 different AD's looking at brand new Sub 16610 and GMT Master II's both coke and pepsi.....at the time I couldnt afford to buy the watch I really wanted so I thought the next best thing would be a SS Datejust.....my problem now is I have almost a 7 3/4" wrist and I cant even wear this Datejust.....the bracelet is too small. So I went on ebay and bought 2 jubilee links that are used Rolex links....well tonight I went to attempt to install the 2 new links and they dont fit in my bracelet right. They are just a tad bit small on the insides and the ends of the links are wider then my bracelet links....I notice on a jubilee bracelet every link steps down smaller and smaller....so is it even possible to add extra links to this bracelet? The 36mm case just looks too small on me and now im not even sure if i want to keep this watch....will AD's take trades for watches? It is my first Rolex and im not sure what to do....Im just upset I cant even wear it....and I wont take the SS bracelet off and put on a leather one...I have to have a Rolex bracelet. Any help or advise would be appreciated, Thanks
