a Rolex running
Do you think any rolex watch should be kept running at all times?
I wear my sub mostly during weekends and sometimes it just stops around tuesday or wednesday. I always end up having to reset the time and sometimes the date in order to wear it again. Setting aside watch winders and all, do you think I should keep my watch wound? or just let it stop and set the time and date every time I need to wear it. I've heard many theories such as: "letting it run is not good just as a car that is constantly running needs a service due to mileage etc..." Others I've heard say even if you don't keep it running, the oils of the watch will dry/thicken and would not be good for the watch. any thoughts? |
