Rubber B on a Yachtmaster (16622)
I decided to get the Rubber B for my Yachtmaster 16622 as something different, and decided to post the pictures as I couldn't see many on the web. Or a write up specific for the Yachtmaster.
I respect that many will not like the 'Rubber B' product, this thread is for people curious about the Rubber B. Possibly with a Yachtmaster. If you have no interest in a rubber strap there is no need to read further! The immediate thing I noticed with the 'Rubber B' was the change in weight. It was like the watch was almost 50% lighter if not more. Then the comfort on how easily it sat on the wrist. It almost felt as if the watch wasn't there. The Rubber B combined with the Rolex Clasp is best in my opinion. It looks amazing. Also I prefer the conservative darker colours. But that's just me. It might be a little hard to get use to at first, but it feels like a 'summer watch'. A good thing as I'm about to head 'down under' to the middle of summer. Also it's not easily recognized as a Rolex, a good thing if you like to enjoy a watch without everyone else noticing. People see the strap, and assume it must be another brand... I probably will change back to the metal strap in winter, but for the mean time I'm happy with the Rubber B strap. It's a good change to make without flipping for another item. Hope this review was helpful... |
