I was in my local AD today looking for a watch for my wife and they had a SD Double Red that had been recently traded. It looked to be in reasonable condition but I felt it was a little pricey at $55,000AUS. Also a GMTII with a VERY untidy bracelet that they wanted $6700AUS for. Far too expensive. They wouldn't refinish the bracelet as part of the sale either. That was very disappointing!

Also the sale assistant said that the current AUS prices are currently the lowest in the world (?) but hinted that there will be a price rise early to mid February of around 5%. Although Rolex hasn't/won't confirm that.

I thought this May be of interest to some of you.
