New Watch - Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 1969

Morning all.

This is my first major purchase since I bought my Daytona in 2009. I saw it on display in my local AD's window and after trying it on I was totally smitten. I've tried on many watches in the intervening years but none have given me the instant 'wow' factor like this one. It was also in the sale with a good chunk off so this made it even more of a no-brainer!

The opening revealing the beating heart of the El Primero movement is mesmerising to watch and gives me a look that none of the others in my collection have. It measures 42mm and sits perfectly on my 6.75" wrist. The movement doesn't hack so I set it 8 days ago the best I could and it seems very accurate at +1 second a day. I think it combines a modern and vintage look and I love it!

Here's some pics and thanks for looking
