Lume Dots Problem
Greeting All,
This might not be a pleasant thread. Picked up my watch new at Seoul Duty Free Shop (South Korea) about one month ago. Recently have a closed look and found all the lume dots are not with even top surface, some of them even collapsed in the middle of it. Under strong light, slightly grey colour can be spotted in the middle of these dots, which seems to be the lume material was spread thin in the middle of these dots. Thus the colour of dial can been seen through lume dots! I see it certainly defects in lume dots quality. Is this normal for modern Rolex? Contacted Seoul Duty Free Shop and they refused to handling this case. The shop assistant even questioned me: why don't I check it at the first place. Would RSC Rolex Guarantee be able to cover these dots? need your expert advise. Thanks. check the pics: |
