They ARE watching....
I know you guys seem to think your watch "flies under the radar".
I think maybe the Exp 1 does. Maybe a few others. But mostly, no, I don't think so. Even the exp 1 is so nice that it's clear it's a high quality piece. IMHO. Had a meeting with some code officials at a job site the other day. I've been working with these guys for years. We are very friendly. Sadly, I failed the inspection, but that's a different story. Anyway, we all walked out together and they see my Audi S4. They start the whole "look how well your doing thing", and I start making my typical justifications. Then one if them starts saying, "it's about the status". Then he points at my wrist and winks. The repeats "status". I've never seen him even glance at my watch. I was wearing the smurf, and I am pretty certain he did not know what it actually was. I could be wrong tho. Anyway, he saw the sub. He saw the bubble and he saw it was a rolex. Today, I'm in Cali meeting customers and I also met with a friendly competitor. First thing he says, "nice watch". And today I was wearing my Breitling Airwolf. Point is, I look, you guys look, and so does everyone else. True story. Believe it or not. People do notice. And while I might get flamed for this next part: I think most people that say they prefer a low profile secretly enjoy when people notice. I know I do. But then again, I readily admit it. Anywho, people look at the car you drive, the clothes you wear, the bag you carry, and the watch you sport.
