I bought my DSSD from Dickson Jewellery & Watch at IFC Hong Kong on the 1st of January 2009. It was the second piece (out of total two pieces) the particular boutique had received in 2008. If I recall correctly, retail was around HKD63,000 back then.

The booklets etc. for mine were in English, so you should have no problem. Ask for at least 5% discount. I paid full retail at the time (asked for a discount but on such a newly introduced watch at the end of 2008, it was not easy).

No comparison to the prices in most parts of Europe. Get the watch, wear it under a sleeve on the way back home, keep the Rolex guarantee card and the receipt on you, ship the box home from HKG. Simple.

Oh, and enjoy Hong Kong. It is a beautiful and vibrant place.
