My Bicycle Ride Today

Did almost 10 miles today and now have 48 miles on the bike. Breaking in the Brooks saddle is the defining measure of the lenght of my rides.

I try to discern the prevailing winds and go against the wind on my ride out hoping that I'll have the wind at my back on the way in. Unfortunately, along the lakefront, the wind always seems to be against me.

Today's ride was a little different. Looking at Google Maps, I found a route that would take me to a Plantation near my house. That was enough to get me to venture off of the lakefront.

When I got home I decided to Google it and found that it is a just a B&B that used wood from the original Plantation. Still, it was a nice diversion.
