buy your first Rolex and what did it mean to you?

I read once that you know you have made it, to a certain level of distinction, when you can spend afford a well made watch. For me, while I sit here and wait for my first Rolex, it means years of hard work, school, pulling myself up from a family that had no college graduates to making enough money to help put my younger siblings through college.
